Earlier this month, our senior management team headed across to Anaheim, California for the Indian Gaming Association’s annual tradeshow & convention – one of the most important dates in the tribal gaming calendar.
Over 7000 attendees visited the exhibition hall over the event’s three days, hearing talks from industry experts and seeing some of the very latest casino technology in action.
Hundreds of Gift & Go demos at Konami
While we didn’t have a Gift & Go stand at the event this year, we didn’t need one, thanks to our leading partnerships with some of the biggest names in the industry.
At the huge Konami booth, for example, we launched our brand new integration in the SYNKROS® casino management system, and it was a huge success.
Across all three days, the stand was busy with press, influencers and casino managers checking out the Gift & Go demo, enquiring about the integration and making plans to bring Gift & Go to their properties.
The Konami team did an incredible job of promoting the new integration and showing visitors exactly how Gift & Go enhances the gaming experience with top-tier rewards and a highly convenient redemption process.
On-demand gifting championed by IGT
Over at the IGT booth, Gift & Go was also a regular topic between IGT hosts and property managers.
Our unrivaled integration into IGT ADVANTAGE has been rolling out to several casinos across the US in the last few months, and many visitors to the expo were keen to learn more about how it works and the benefits it brings.
The IGT team were more than happy to show off our revolutionary gifting technology.
Dozens of packed education sessions
Education was a huge part of the IGA event this year, with AI, online gaming and sports betting all hot topics.
We managed to squeeze in a few key presentations during our time there, including talks that featured prominent team members from our partners at Light & Wonder, Everi and Playtech.
‘The Business Case for Modernizing the Casino Floor’ – with Light & Wonder’s CFO Americas – Shannon Demus – gave us an illuminating look at how on-demand technology can transform player experiences, and really impressed attendees with the possibilities their properties could embrace.
‘The How-To and Why of Mobile Class II Gaming’, saw Richard Sagman, Everi’s SVP Product Management and Marcus Yoder, Playtech’s Chief Commercial Officer – USA, join an expert panel to talk about the benefits of the mobile gaming experience, which delivered a host of great insights.
And finally, ‘The Incremental Revenue Driving Power Of Continuity Gifting Programs In Tribal Gaming’ was one of our must-watch talks, and it didn’t disappoint. We already know how invaluable continuing gifting is to casinos, and we know how on-demand technology can further enhance experiences. This session helped many more property managers see its potential.
One highly valuable event
Across all the education sessions and the 400 exhibition booths, the IGA tradeshow and convention was a huge success.
We’re already making plans to return to the tradeshow next year.
Right now though, we have many interested casino properties who we’ll be following up with over the next few weeks.
